Barr. Alex Olu Johnson
Managing Partner, Corporate & Commercial Law
Barr. Alex Johnson is a founding partner and the head of the Corporate and Commercial Law Practice at Sovereign Trust Legal Practitioners. With over 25 years of legal experience, he has advised multinational corporations, financial institutions, and government agencies on complex transactions, regulatory compliance, and business structuring.
His expertise spans mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, investment law, and contract negotiation. Barr. Johnson is widely recognized for his strategic foresight and pragmatic approach to legal challenges, helping clients achieve sustainable business outcomes.
He holds an LL.B from the University of Lagos and an LL.M in International Business Law from the University of London. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the International Bar Association (IBA).
Prince Adetunji Adeleke

Prince Adetunji Adeleke leads the firm’s Business Development, Expansion, and Operations. His experience spans over three decades, working across sectors and with diverse multinational corporations.

Barr. Tunmise Bello
Managing Partner, Real Estate and Regulatory Affairs
Barr. Tunmise Bello is a managing partner and head of the firm’s Energy, Real Estate, and Regulatory Affairs Practice. He has extensive experience advising clients in the oil and gas, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors. His practice focuses on project development, licensing, due diligence, and public-private partnerships.
Barr. Bello is also well-versed in property law, land acquisition, and environmental compliance. He has worked closely with both private developers and government regulators to ensure sustainable and legally sound project execution.
He obtained his LL.B from the University of Ilorin and holds a Master’s degree in Energy and Environmental Law. He is an active member of the Nigerian Gas Association and the Energy Institute (UK).
Barr. (Mrs.) Ireti Boyle
Managing Partner, Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Barr. (Mrs.) Ireti Boyle leads the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. A seasoned advocate, she represents clients before superior courts of record in civil, commercial, and constitutional matters. Her strength lies in crafting persuasive arguments, managing complex litigation, and exploring alternative dispute resolution mechanisms to achieve timely results.
With a passion for justice and fairness, Barr. Ireti Boyle has successfully handled landmark cases that have contributed to the development of Nigerian jurisprudence. Her expertise also extends to arbitration, mediation, and public interest litigation.
She holds an LL.B from University of Ibadan and a BL from the Nigerian Law School. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and a respected mentor to young female lawyers
